The gate stands on Denboin street, Asakusa.
Denboin is the residence of head priest of Sensoji temple and it is also the place where priests of the temple do Buddhist training.

Nezumi Kozo at Denboin Street, Asakusa
There is an object of Nezumi Kozo on a roof.
Nezumi Kozo ("Rat Kid") is a thief in Edo period and a hero in popular legend.
In the legend, he steals money from corrupt lords and evil merchants by creeping into their residences alone, and gives money to the poor.

Edo Monja Hyotan
"Edo Monja Hyotan" is a Monja restaurant located on Denboin street, Asakusa.
Monja is a type of traditional pan-fried food in Kanto region which made of wheat flour and other various ingredients.
In the picture on the restaurant's shutter, you can see a family in Edo period cooking and eating Monja with a small spatula.
